Our Submission Window is Open Until September 1, 2024.

Horseshoe invites submissions from new, emerging, and established writers. Send us your work by January 15, 2024. Submissions should include a cover page and brief biographical note. Your prose or poetry should not include any identifying markers (to facilitate the blind review process). Please send your submission as ONE .doc or pdf file to submissions@horseshoejournal.ca. Please follow the submission guidelines below.

• Horseshoe welcomes submissions of 1 prose piece (up to 3000 words) or up to 5 poems
• We accept simultaneous submissions but please notify us if your piece is accepted elsewhere.
• We do not publish previously published works: online, digital, or print
• A response by email will take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months
